Types of data processed
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, addresses in URI notation (“Uniform Resource Identifier“) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to check its correct operation and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this eventuality, at present the data on web contacts do not persist for more than fifteen days.
Cookies are small text files that the site you visit sends to your terminal, where they are stored, only to be sent back to the same site on your next visit.
Third-party cookies, on the other hand, are set by a third-party website other than the one you, as a user, are visiting.
It is specified, for your protection, that a cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user’s hard drive, transmit viruses or acquire email addresses.
Cookies are differentiated into two types: so-called “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies.
The former are used to perform fast executions of computer authentications while maintaining user identification within the session, as well as to enable secure browsing. For these purposes, this type of cookie is not stored persistently on the user’s PC; rather, it vanishes when the browser is closed.
Based on the June 10, 2021 Data Protection Authority Guidelines, such cookies can be used without the consent of the data subject.
We would like to inform you again that this site uses both types described and therefore, in order to provide you with more information, including on how to opt out of “profiling” cookies, we recommend that you read the dedicated policy by clicking here.
Data voluntarily provided by the data subject
If by connecting to this site you decide, where applicable, to submit your personal data (e.g., first name, last name, e-mail address) in order to access certain services, i.e., to make e-mail requests, the ARTHEMIA Ltd. will process such data in order to respond to your request, i.e., to provide you with the requested service in accordance with this policy and the specific privacy notices rendered when you join individual services. Data will be kept for as long as necessary to provide the requested service and to handle any disputes.
Your personal data will be disclosed to third parties only in the event that the disclosure is necessary to comply with the requests of the users themselves, as specified in the specific notices of individual services, or to simplify – at your request – registration operations to third-party sites/applications.
Purpose and legal basis for processing
The ARTHEMIA S.r.l. processes your browsing data mentioned in point 1) in order to monitor the technical operation and performance of the site, to understand how to improve the services and make them evolve. This data is necessary to ensure the delivery of the site.

For these types of data, the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
On the other hand, with regard to the data in point 3), we invite you to read the specific disclosures of the individual services.

In particular, the ARTHEMIA Ltd. has taken and is taking appropriate organizational (distribution of roles and responsibilities in the execution of activity and controls), procedural, and technical (firewalls, antivirus, and other technologies) measures to protect your data against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification.
Personal data collected for the achievement of the aforementioned purposes may be subject to simple communication, to the extent of their specific competence, to public and private entities for the proper conduct of the employment relationship or to comply with: reasoned requests of the Authorities, laws, regulations and/or EU regulations
At any time, you may access information about yourself and request that it be corrected and/or supplemented, as well as deleted, de-indexed, anonymized, or blocked. You may also object in whole or in part to the processing or opt for portability of your data.
